User Agreement

Welcome to HookFlix. This User Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and HookFlix AI Inc., including its affiliates, subsidiaries, websites, mobile applications, creator tools, streaming services, IP marketplace, AI content tools, and related platforms (“HookFlix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using www.hookflix.net, the HookFlix mobile application, Creator Studio, IP Marketplace, AI short drama tools, or any related services collectively referred to as the “Services,” you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree to this Agreement, you must not access or use the Services.

1. Our Services

HookFlix provides an AI-powered entertainment ecosystem, including but not limited to:

Short drama streaming services;

AI-assisted video, script, and content creation tools;

Creator Studio and creator management tools;

IP licensing and IP marketplace services;

Content distribution, monetization, advertising, and promotional tools;

User accounts, subscriptions, purchases, and community features.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using HookFlix, you represent that you have the legal right and authority to enter into this Agreement.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;

All activity that occurs under your account;

Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

HookFlix is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You may upload, submit, create, publish, display, distribute, or otherwise make available content through the Services, including scripts, videos, images, audio, text, AI-generated content, profile information, comments, and other materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to HookFlix, you grant HookFlix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, promote, monetize, and otherwise exploit such User Content for operating, improving, marketing, and providing the Services.

You represent and warrant that:

You own or have all necessary rights to your User Content;

Your User Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights;

Your User Content does not violate any law or this Agreement.

5. AI-Generated Content

HookFlix may provide AI-assisted tools for generating scripts, videos, images, music, subtitles, voice, characters, scenes, or other creative materials.

You understand and agree that:

AI-generated results may not be unique;

Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users;

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publication or commercial use;

HookFlix does not guarantee that AI-generated content is free of third-party rights, copyright claims, trademark claims, or other legal restrictions.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes;

Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights;

Upload illegal, violent, hateful, sexually exploitative, defamatory, or harmful content;

Impersonate any person or entity;

Interfere with or disrupt the Services;

Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or misuse HookFlix technology;

Use bots, scripts, or automated systems without permission;

Circumvent payment, subscription, licensing, or access restrictions;

Use the Services to generate or distribute content that violates applicable laws or platform policies.

HookFlix may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this Agreement.

7. Intellectual Property

All HookFlix trademarks, logos, software, platform designs, technology, databases, interfaces, algorithms, business methods, and other materials are owned by HookFlix or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or exploit any HookFlix intellectual property without prior written permission.

8. Payments, Subscriptions, and Purchases

Some Services may require payment, subscription fees, in-app purchases, creator fees, licensing fees, advertising fees, or other charges.

By purchasing any paid Service, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.

Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly approved by HookFlix.

We may change pricing, subscription plans, or payment terms at any time.

9. Creator Monetization and Revenue Sharing

HookFlix may offer creators the opportunity to monetize content through subscriptions, advertising, paid episodes, licensing, IP trading, or other revenue models.

Any creator revenue-sharing arrangement must be governed by a separate written agreement or platform policy.

HookFlix reserves the right to withhold, adjust, or deny payments in cases of fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, copyright disputes, invalid traffic, or breach of this Agreement.

10. IP Marketplace and Licensing

HookFlix may provide tools for users, creators, studios, or rights holders to list, license, buy, sell, or trade intellectual property rights.

HookFlix does not guarantee the ownership, validity, commercial value, or legal status of any IP listed by users.

Users are solely responsible for verifying rights, chain of title, licensing terms, territorial rights, and commercial permissions before entering into any transaction.

HookFlix may act as a platform provider but is not automatically a party to transactions between users unless expressly stated in writing.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links, integrations, payment processors, analytics tools, advertising networks, cloud services, AI providers, app stores, or third-party platforms.

HookFlix is not responsible for third-party services, content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at:

By using the Services, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Content Removal and Account Termination

HookFlix may, at its sole discretion, remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other actions if we believe that you have violated this Agreement, applicable law, third-party rights, or platform policies.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions of this Agreement will continue to apply after termination, including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution provisions.

14. DMCA and Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content on HookFlix infringes your copyright, you may contact us with a copyright complaint including:

Your name and contact information;

Identification of the copyrighted work;

Identification of the allegedly infringing material;

A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized;

A statement that the information is accurate;

Your physical or electronic signature.

15. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

HookFlix does not guarantee that:

The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;

Content will be accurate, reliable, or legally cleared;

AI-generated content will be unique, copyright-free, or commercially usable;

The Services will meet your business, creative, financial, or legal expectations.

You use the Services at your own risk.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookFlix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

HookFlix’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to HookFlix in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD $100 if no payment was made.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HookFlix, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, partners, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

Your use of the Services;

Your User Content;

Your violation of this Agreement;

Your violation of any law or third-party rights;

Any IP, licensing, copyright, trademark, or privacy dispute caused by your content or actions.

18. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated Agreement on the Services or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Services after the updated Agreement becomes effective means you accept the revised Agreement.

19. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from this Agreement or the Services shall be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
